Little fish

A strange day or so. I stayed over in London for work and had a taste of my old, pre babies life. Went out after work, drank (a bit) of wine, had a lively and lovely meal with good friends. Mmmmmmmmmmmm the food was awesome. Great night. And yet. Despite all this I missed my…

Wow, it’s hot

The UK is sweltering. It’s lovely. We spent yesterday afternoon in a paddling pool. Well it felt like it. Little One stood unaided – yay! elder dressed as a cat. Other Half talked boats. And I just enjoyed being. I don’t often get the chance. The boys were brilliant. Our friends’ BBQ superb. Frankly, after…

Peak – aboo

So, I said before that life is a series of peaks and troughs around here at present. Last post saw me pretty much in a trough. Today I am aiming for a peak so let’s have a chat about my embryonic new quilting project and what’s on the (very posh) circular needles at the moment….

What do you say?

A full on and funny 24 hours. Different lives meeting head on. I’ve met lots of people, some I have known for 15 yes but not seen since I got ill, some I’ve hardly spoken to but who know the shaky me. Weird. Neither comfortable. Both exhilarating. Can’t bear it when old friends look worried….
