    What do you do when you just can’t wait to lick the mixing bowl? Persuade your mum to make a massive, just dump it on the tray, cookie. Clever boy. Just made banana and fig (from the garden) cookie. Yum!

  • Fishstock

    Prize for the best named food and music festival goes to yesterday’s Fishstock in sunny Brixham. Well, by the evening it was lashing down but hey at least there wasn’t any mud! Wonderful fish, lovely wine, banging toons and a bit of alfresco knitting. Can’t get better than that.

    To First Great Western’s 06.30 to London – blurgh! School term started yesterday for Elder (all OK) and mine starts today. Wow, getting up was ‘interesting’. So, to speed along the journey I thought I’d publish my train survival guide. Any suggestions to enhance the commute experience will be road(track?) tested and reported back on……
