• Framed

A quick project…. Plain wood frame from the charidee spruced up with fabulous Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and blue lace washi tape round the outside edge. The little sketch was too small so I made an inner frame from some craft paper to hide the edges. Voila!!!

  • Mini me

A summer treat chez Stitch…strawberry stitching on the go… This little beauty was £35 from John Lewis and weighs just over 2kg!! It fits in my handbag!! I’m loving it. The plan is to teach Elder how to use it and we will make a quilt or similar. Summer stitching, can’t beat it. Xxx

    London buses

Typical. You wait for a quilt and then loads come along at the same time. My poor postman. All of these will be posted to either eBay or Etsy shortly. Let me know if you’re interested…

  • Rip it up?

    Rip it up?

I’m as torn as this lovely quilt that arrived today. Do I chop it up and turn it into pictures, pillows and the like? The quilting is exquisite, flowers, feathers, tiny tiny cross hatching. How do I do it justice? Like I said, torn. Ideas?

  • Put a ring on it…

EBay strikes again. My latest purchase from the US. Going to have to sell a few quilts to make space for it though. But hey, it’s worth it don’t you think?
