Fuzzy felt

Have to share this find…hand stitched felt children! I spotted them in a charity shop (rhymes with Boo High-der). They were on a manky antimacassars which I chopped off pronto. I auditioned backgrounds and went for some beautiful wool I got a few years ago, pre Portas charity shopping. I’m trying reverse appliqué but its a journey, lets say…any tips would be helpful!

  1. There’s a fabulous exhibition of quilts at Lupton House, if you’re in Brixham this weekend. It’s Friday 20th-Sunday 22nd, 10 till 4.00. £1.50.
Lovely colours, really original ideas. I didn’t realise there were so many gifted people beavering away in the area!

  2. That is simply beautiful… we’re always looking around for ides, and making felt children and characters… we’d need to source out for materials, especially since our kids are preschoolers.. thanks for the share 🙂
