  All this talk of Halloween (partyspanner’s fab blog in particular) made me reminisce about Elders party when he was 3. I found some pics on my phone – here are some of them. I made ‘mummy dogs’ from frankfurters and pastry strips with mustard dots for eyes. And a jelly cat sitting in wormy green…

  What do you do when you just can’t wait to lick the mixing bowl? Persuade your mum to make a massive, just dump it on the tray, cookie. Clever boy. Just made banana and fig (from the garden) cookie. Yum!
