Chat like a metaphor

Have you ever been naked when you speak?
Not actually, I’m using a metaphor.
When you suddenly realise you’re out in the light,
and your skin is still pink and soft to the touch.
It feels like the wind is whistling To cut,
Like you could be knocked over and fall.

When you open your self to a friend or Another
It is always a leap in the dark
A gyroscope, yes that’s a better idea
But I feel a step not a spin.
Well whatever, the point is it takes a big risk
to let my other people see in.

Sinking in to the group would be good,
Being one with that shoal, not out.

This time I’d like to drop like a stone
When I can’t feel the wind
And I’m just all myself
Then I know I have found my true home.
