Where are my poems
Where are my rhymes
The verse has reversed
The bard has called time
I used to wax lyrical
And paint what I thought
Perhaps I’m too cynical
Or feeling too fraught
I love writing lines tho
I’ll try to continue
But know that I’ll also
Stop at breaking a sinew
