Easy as tweety pie

As promised…a tweety tutorial. This is a really satisfying project as its so quick.

I used a wire wreath form that I bought for pennies on eBay. I then wrapped old tissue paper and ( forgive me) loo roll around it, squished it a bit and Sellotaped it secure.

Then I got out my scraps. I have some string scraps of 1930s and 40s vintage fabric. But you could use jelly rolls or just leftover bits and bobs. Ribbon would be good too.

And then, you wind it round and round and round in a pleasing fashion until you like what you’ve got. Secure with glue or a stitch.

I finished it off with some accent fabric with a bunny and some jumbo rickrac. And then on to the felt for some fun!

Basically, whatever you want goes. I did a couple of birds and an egg. I slightly stuffed them using paper again and stitched them on.

  1. Thank you, I have recently been looking for information about this subject for a while and yours is the best I have found out so far. But, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you certain about the source?|What i don’t realize is if truth be told how you are now not actually a lot more well-appreciated than you might be right now. You’re very intelligent.
