Welcome to my new purchase. This is a mystery quilt indeed . Was ahorse and buggy blanket according to the original seller on eBay. But it was hidden beauty. There was a quilt inside. You can see the feed sack coverings, the red and blue. Inside once unpicked, here is the quilt too! It smells to high heaven of horses and mustiness but it’s beautiful. I love it even though it isn’t very well put together. The colours are gorgeous. I have backed it with some vintage blue and white flower material. Weirdly, it was exactly the right size. When it stops smelling ( goodness knows when) I will have a great quilt. Till then, I’ve got all my smell repellant potions on the go.
