Prints charming

Well, you guys now that I have dabbled in the fabric design previously. Up until now though, I’ve how to use an American provider, Spoonflower. But, that seems to be set to change…

Introducing my new design courtesy of -This is a UK outfit and they are offering digital printing at £29.99 per metre. Yes, I know that sounds a lot, but these are one off items and I think if you had a lot, there would be a bulk discount. I am certainly enchanted with this. It only took three days to get to me too.

The design is a photograph of a flower I did a while ago, shown above, reflected and rotated 360 degrees like a kalaidoscope. You like?

So now, what to make with it? I can’t decide. Either, some kind of tunic top, or, maybe two scarves? Oh I don’t know. Have you got any good ideas. The nice problem to have of course is that I now have a piece of fabric I really really don’t want cut up. Maybe floor cushions? Who knows. Anyway, it will be fun try to work it out. I’ll show you when I know ordo more 😉

  1. I believe you wen you say it’s a flower but the first thing I saw was a dog’s face. Then the old fellow’s face above the dog (which is the dog face upside down…). Don’t say I’m the only one!

  2. […] I’ve raved about the wonderous and their digital printing service. I’m working on some fabric designs based on my house sketches at the moment and I have played with digital florals too.  […]
